There’s some new information on Mini Madis Gras:
This year the FREE younger children’s activities will be taking place in Simeon Street Recreation Ground from 11am -2.30pm. There will be circus skills, story telling, face painting, samba drumming workshops and the chance to make your own simple carnival accessories and then wear them in the Mardi Gras parade which sets off at 3pm.
Being at Simeon Rec means that everyone at Mini Mardi Gras will be able to see all the schools and groups getting ready and enjoy performances by Zodiac All Stars, VIVA and the Big Sing Out as well!
These are free drop in activities, no need to book, suitable for all ages. Please note children must be supervised by an adult at all times,
